Subject: Vote NO on Plaza Tax Subsidy

Dear Port KC Board Member,

I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the proposed $520 million tax incentive package for Country Club Plaza. This deal would cost KCPS schools $188 million over 30 years— $250 per student, every year.

The developer purchased the Plaza for $175.6 million—a 75% discount from the 2016 sale. They do not need the largest tax subsidy in Kansas City history.

Please vote NO and protect our schools.
